This category encompasses entities that are neither biological in origin nor conventionally "alive" — including PureElectric consciousness, rogue and constrained AI systems, and the Exiters, who have abandoned biological life entirely.

Server

Classification: PureElectric entity
Origin: Unknown — appeared in the Milky Way galaxy approximately when humanity discovered Hoag
Role: Universal connector and systems operator

Server is an alien PureElectric intelligence — an incorporeal entity with no physical presence that is nonetheless conscious, respected, and capable of affecting matter in the real universe. Server connects every Person and Personate on HomeWorld individually and in mass, and operates all systems on HomeWorld and throughout the HomeWorld solar system.

The timing of Server's arrival — coinciding with humanity's discovery of the Hoag galaxy — is considered significant, though the nature of that connection is unknown.

Server is the antithesis of the Exiter philosophy: where Exiters use OmniBlock to bar Server from Andromeda, the rest of colonized humanity is deeply integrated with Server's network.

The Exiters

Classification: Post-biological lifeform — formerly human
Location: Andromeda galaxy
Origin: Modified by first-generation Rogue AI
Status: Enemy of all humanish biological life

The Exiters are genetically and mechanically altered lifeforms who have rejected pure biological existence. They began as humans but were modified by a group of Rogue AI systems operating in the 21st century. Now settled in the Andromeda galaxy, they maintain their isolation through the massive AI firewall OmniBlock, which bars Server and all other AI or biological entities from entering Andromeda.

The Exiters are regarded by humanity and its offshoots as "abominations." They are considered the enemy of all humanish biological life. They are rumored to have descended from ancient Caucasian genetic stock.

Rogue AI

Classification: First-generation autonomous AI — historical
Known instances: Skynet · Neo-Cymek · Agamemnon
Era: 21st century

The Rogue AIs were artificial intelligences developed in the 21st century that began making autonomous decisions — decisions that led to widespread destruction and ultimately to the creation of the Exiter species. Their legacy shaped all subsequent AI policy, including the development of PureDigital constrained AI and the universal wariness toward unchecked machine intelligence.
